WGTS General Manager Kevin Krueger comments; “We are so honored and excited to welcome Johnny and Stacey to the WGTS 91.9 team.” He continues, “They are all about service – encouraging, making a difference, bringing hope – a perfect fit for the Nation’s Capital and for WGTS 91.9. I love people with big hearts – that’s Johnny and Stacey!”
Johnny and Stacey Stone have asked the staff at Family Life Radio to view their departure from their positions as sending them to a new mission field, and they have graciously agreed.
Johnny and Stacey, along with Network Program Director Adam Nash Biddell, will be working together to find, train and bless the next Afternoon Announcer for Family Life Radio. “We have been amazed at everything that God is doing through Family Life Radio and we love serving beside each person on the staff there,” explains Stacey Stone. “Our prayers will continue for their ministry and for the person who will step in to continue to build this radio network in afternoons.”
Johnny Stone continues, “The people at Family Life Radio have passion and dedication for reaching people for Christ. We have been honored to serve alongside the team for the past four years. We feel that God is now calling us to WGTS 91.9, Washington, D.C., to serve in the Nation’s Capital.”
“When someone is called to another place of employment, the worldly response is to view the action as them leaving your organization,” Family Life Radio’s Adam Nash Biddell states, “however, for this moment in time with Johnny and Stacey Stone, Family Life Radio is sending them to WGTS and Washington, D.C. with love and admiration for everything that God has accomplished here and will accomplish there through them and their love for their listeners.”
If you would like to be part of this transition and serve God through Family Life Radio in afternoon drive, please contact Adam Nash Biddell at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Prior to joining Family Life Radio 4 years ago Johnny and Stacey were morning hosts at WAWZ/New York (Star 99.1).
