Former KSBJ/Houston President/General Manager Tim McDermott has accepted the role as Chief Operating Officer at Praise FM/Praise Live in Minneapolis. Tim says, “As I have prayed about new beginnings and new dreams, it became very clear to Trudy and me, this is my next step. I really believe praise and worship is the most unifying music of our time and to use it to lead people from all nations to experience Jesus – what could be better?”
Tim exited KSBJ in April after over 25 years with the station.
David McIver, Executive Director said “Tim McDermott has been my trusted friend and mentor for over 20 years, and I love his heart to take the worship of Jesus to every tribe and every nation. Please pray for Tim as he builds a team of people who create a global media platform for the presence of God.”
Praise FM has been serving the people of Minnesota and the Dakota’s for over 33 years. Praise Live is currently broadcast via Satellite in the Middle East and Africa and available in millions of homes and on six FM stations in several African countries. Praise Live has active plans to soon be on in many more countries across the world and on affiliates throughout the United States.
Tim will start his new position next week and will also be doing a Sunday morning worship show on Praise FM.
