Check out the buzz below on the current single from "Traveling Light: Songs From The 23rd Psalm," the album based on Max Lucado's best-selling book.  The title cut, performed by PFR's Joel Hanson and Sara Groves, is climbing up the charts and generating some talk:

Dallas Morning News The lead-off track, with Mr. Hanson backed by Ms. Groves, deals more generally with laying burdens down. And it does so catchily; with laid back vocals and a great guitar line, it's a hit.

CCM The light pop, often acoustic-driven album carries a consistent soothing quality. Joel Hanson croons the upbeat title cut, while Sara Groves offers haunting beautiful background vocals. The song nicely sums up the book's theme of laying down burdens we were not meant to carry.

Crosswalk.com The title track sets a laid-back tone that fits the album's theme of casting our burdens on the Lord. Joel Hanson takes the lead on vocals and delivers a fine performance, but the track is a great example of how supporting vocals can bring an added dimension to an otherwise straightforward recording. Sara Groves provides just the right backing, adding to the song's sing-along quality.

ChristianityToday.com Traveling Light is a terrific compilation that ranks with City On A Hill, Streams, and My Utmost For His Highest

Former PFR frontman Joel Hanson (right) recently joined producer Brown Bannister to record the title track for "Traveling Light: Songs From The 23rd Psalm"--a collection of songs based on Max Lucado's best-selling book. The single is climbing up the charts and also features guest vocalist Sara Groves. The album was produced by Bannister and Steve Hindalong and features cuts by Third Day's Mac Powell, Amy Grant, Fleming & John, Jaci Velasquez, Bryan White, Ashley Cleveland, Russ Taff, new Squint artist Adore, and dc talk's Michael Tait.
