Salem
Communications first quarter same station revenues and broadcast
cash flow increase 14% and 26%, respectively. Edward G. Atsinger
III, President and CEO said, "We are pleased to report what we
believe are the strongest same station revenue and cash flow
growth rates in the industry. These impressive results reflect the
strong ratings, revenue and BCF growth at our Contemporary
Christian Music stations, as well as the strength of our unique
block programming business model of our Christian Talk/Teaching
radio stations. With a large percentage of our radio station
portfolio in a launch or early development stage, we believe Salem
is very well positioned for continued industry-leading revenue and
cash flow growth, as these stations develop to maturity."
For the quarter ended March 31, 2002 net broadcasting
