Dave Spiker says this Friday will be his final broadcast as announcer on Insight for Living with Chuck Swindoll. Dave has served in this role for 25 years.

Chuck & Cynthia were very gracious in allowing me to pass the baton. It’s been a tremendous privilege to have a small part in such an important ministry. I’ll miss working with the IFL team.


WayFM afternoon host Joy Summers will sing the national anthem at the Portland NBA home game tonight. It’s WayFM’s Faith and Family Night.


WRVL/Richmond (The Journey) hosted for King And Country for a meet and greet at Mardels Christian Bookstore recently. It was the day their new album dropped.
Kenny and Brittany (pictured) featured the newest song “For God Is With Us” that morning and were hanging with Joel and Luke that afternoon at Mardels. Over 600 people showed up to hang out, get an autograph and take some selfies.

Program Director Kenny Robinson said “this is one of the things that’s fun about radio, doing special and unique events for our listeners.”

 

The Curb Word Entertainment artists for King And Country new album What Are We Waiting For? hits the Billboard 200 this week at #7 and #2 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart, marking the brother duo’s second Top 10 album of their career.  In celebration of the new album, for King And Country is offering fans a free special live, online worldwide performance titled What Are We Waiting For? | The Worldwide Special, benefitting Convoy Of Hope, to help raise funds for the Ukrainian refugees.  Filmed in the Mojave Desert in California, the concert will feature new material from the album, airing tomorrow, March 24, at 8:00 P.M. ET / 7:00 P.M. CT / 5:00 P.M. PT, and can be viewed via FACEBOOK and YOU TUBE.  The duo is also gearing up for their 2022 U.S. 34-city tour which kicks off on March 31 in Southaven, MS and continues through May 22 in Franklin, Tennessee.

Says the Smallbones, “Eight days into the album release, and it’s fair to say that it feels unlike any other, particularly with what the world has faced, and continues to face. Our hope is that this family, spiritual and global record will meet listeners right where they are, and be a soundtrack as we step into the future.”  They continue, “It’s with no small dose of gratitude that we say ‘thank you’! As a small way to express it, we’ve put together a special performance from the Mojave Desert playing a good portion of the new record to celebrate and commemorate the launch and also raise funding for Ukrainian refugees.”
