WCSG/Grand Rapids is celebrating number 1 ratings in the Winter 2017 book. WCSG scored an 8.8 AQH 12+ good for #1 overall. An accomplishment not often seen in CCM. WCSG Executive Director told HisAir.Net, “Our success is truly a team effort, rooted in our commitment to Christ. We’re so grateful to the Lord for the influence he allows us to have as we encourage others to experience Jesus in a more personal way.”

WCSG MD/morning co-host Amanda Hildabrand tells HisAir.Net, “While we are thrilled to see WCSG at the top of the ratings, we are even more excited about what these numbers represent. People are searching for hope and encouragement, and we are so thankful that many of them are turning to our station as a resource for that.”

Nominations are being accepted now thru May 31st for 2017 NAB Marconi Awards. Categories include “Station of the Year” (by market size) and Station of the Year” (by format). Stations and on-air personalities may nominate themselves in categories of ‘Station of the Year’ by market size, ‘Station of the Year’ by format, ‘Non-commercial station, The Finalists are revealed in July.

The University of Northwestern-St. Paul “Faith Radio” network is now on the air in the Bismarck, ND area due to a purchase from the Educational Media Foundation. Northwestern has acquired KLBF/Lincoln-Bismarck (89.1) for $50K and has filed with the FCC requesting KLBF become a satellite of( KTIS/Minneapolis), which is the flagship of the Christian talk and preaching network “Faith Radio”.
