EMF is purchasing WFXF/Dundee, IL (103.9) from Alpha Media for $900,000 in a spin off deal involving Matrix Broadcasting Holdings LLC and NextMedia Group.  With WFXF EMF will add to its Chicagoland coverage to the west.

In the greater Chicago area KLOVE is on Class B WCKL/C/hicago (FM 97.9), Class A WOKL/Round Lake Beach, Ill. (FM 89.1), and the far west on Class B WCLRDekalb, Ill (FM 92.5).  Air1 can be heard on Class A WJKL/Glendale Heights, Ill. (FM 94.3) serving the north and west suburbs; and Class A WAIW/Wheaton, Ill (FM 88.1). It’s not know if KLOVE or Air1 will be programmed on the new station WFXF.


On February 9th, WBSN/New Orleans (LifeSongs) celebrated National Blood Donor Month by making a difference at the 10th Annual LifeSongs Blood Drive for The Blood Center. Blood donors received a Blood Center t-shirt and a quart of Baskin-Robbins ice-cream. Donations made during LifeSongs Blood Drive will impact over 99 patients!
