Bott Radio Network (BRN) has launched their new Amazon Echo skill. It’s a free skill and is the latest development of their digital delivery systems, which also includes apps for iPhone, iPad, Android, iHeart Radio, TuneIn Radio, NextRadio and more. The BRN skill enables listeners to hear BRN live anywhere in the world they have an Amazon Echo.

Nielsen Audio released a special report on Holiday (uh Christmas) music.  The report asked the questions, who are the fans of Holiday Music? Are people only listening on the radio or streaming? Which formats are marking the switch? Check out the report here.


Salem reports same-station revenue was down nearly 5% to $48.3 million in Q3. Teaching and talk stations were off 6%, news/talk was down 2%, music stations declined 4%, and the Salem Radio Network dropped 3.5%. Additionally Salem’s digital business was down 12.9% and the company’s publishing business was off over 20%. Concert revenue was down 7%. Overall revenue declined 8.2% to $65.4 million.
