KJTH/OKC (The House FM) and KLVV/Ponca City (My Praise FM) have launched a new Amazon Alexa Skill, with an emphasis on on-demand features for users of Amazon’s smart speakers. The skill has been integrated with several commands that enable Alexa to provide content to listeners. After enabling the skills, as a way of cross promoting both networks, users can say “play Christian Hits” or “play Praise and Worship” from either The House FM skill or the My Praise FM skill.

The skill goes beyond simply playing the station. Users can now say “Alexa, ask The House FM what is playing” and Alexa will recite information about the live song playing on the network, including the artist and song title.
