The Truth Network based in Winston Salem, NC was knocked off the air temporarily due to severe flooding in the area Thursday.  Truth Network President Stu Epperson says, “We had epic flooding in Winston Salem area the other day. Heavy rains 3-4” in most places. There’s a river behind that building and it overflowed and backed up. The building was submerged about 3 feet or so.

Damage is being assessed.

Ryan Freed joins Kinship Christian Radio based in Blue Earth, MN as morning host. Most recently Ryan was Operations Director at WFCJ/Dayton. Ryan tells us he first saw the opening on the HisAir JOBS page!

Kinship Christian Radio is a group of FM Christian inspirational/praise and worship radio stations in southern Minnesota and northern Iowa.


Laura Chase wraps up her 5+ year run at WCVO/Columbus (104.9 The River) with her last airshift today. Laura says, “My last day is today – and because my family has been fighting Covid I have  to do my shift from home.  I’m so disappointed to not be live while saying goodbye…my listeners are truly friends. What a weird world we live in.”

Laura is joining Trans World Radio (TWR) as a Stewardship Representative. She will also continue with her home studio work in voice-overs, voice-tracking, and on-air fundraising.  To connect:  [email protected]


Salem Media Group, Inc. released its results for the three and nine months ended September 30, 2020.

Third Quarter 2020 Highlights

-Net broadcast revenue increased 15.0% compared to the second quarter of 2020 and declined 4.8% compared to the third quarter of 2019

-Total broadcast advertising/spot revenue increased 26.4% compared to the second quarter of 2020 and declined 21.7% compared to the third quarter of 2019
